Attend classical concerts, learn from conductors, meet musicians. Young people can get tickets for six concerts with pre-concert introductions and talks for a total price of 36 euros. The programme is supported by all the notable orchestras in Berlin: The Berliner Philharmoniker, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester, Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin. The Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and Bundesjugendorchester are also a part of this programme.
The berlinerjugendabo (Berlin Youth Subscription Scheme) can be ordered until early March 2020. With this, the total price goes down by 6 euros for each concert attended. The concerts will take place from October 2019 to June 2020.
The subscription is for young people between the ages of 14 and 21 and can be bought at our online shop. The tickets will be delivered from mid-August onwards.
With the start of the new academic year, the concert season is back! The new concert season is kicking off with several musical events for young people and families. JugendKulturService has organised a total of 122 concerts at reasonable prices between EUR 4 and EUR 19.50 in the coming season, which will allow young people and families with children to enjoy and experience concerts together.
Families with the Berliner FamilienPass get a discount of EUR 2 per ticket again this year. Families with a verified low income can buy the tickets at half price under the option “Extra offers”. You can find more information at Extra offers for the FamilienPass.
With 40 concerts for families with children aged three and above, we have arranged special programmes for our youngest audience members. Here, children can listen to music and try out and find out more about instruments that are suitable for their age range in a relaxed atmosphere.
Young people up to 21 years old can choose from 82 youth concerts at affordable prices ranging from 5 to 12 euros. This includes: With its “Mittendrin” concerts, the Konzerthaus orchestra provides young people with another opportunity to get involved with the orchestra and experience the music up close. And the three “Casual Concerts” by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester bridge the gap between moderated classical music and urban live DJ acts.
In addition to large orchestras, both smaller professional ensembles and young talented musicians are included in the programme. The entire selection reflects the diversity of the musical landscape in Berlin.
15 concert organisers are involved in this programme and have allotted tickets at extra-special prices. This makes it possible for young audiences up to and including the age of 21 to participate in and try out musical events without having to empty their wallets, and even families can attend age-appropriate concerts with their children at a reduced price.
You can order the tickets from the JugendKulturService online shop. Here, you can select whether you want the tickets to be sent to you via post (EUR 0.70 delivery charge per delivery applies) or pay in cash directly at the JKS when you collect your tickets.
