JugendKulturService organises the film projects Spatzenkino, Kinderkinobüro and SchulKinoWochen Berlin, which have been putting together age-appropriate film programmes for years, while also arranging lively film festivals for children and even the whole family.
Spatzenkino is the only children’s cinema initiative in Europe that organises film events specially for children and young people throughout the year.
Every month, approx. 45-minute short film programmes are screened in 20 cinemas in Berlin.
Kinderkinobüro is committed to planning a varied film programme for children and young people and is the competent contact partner regarding children’s cinema in Berlin. For primary school children, there is the Kinderfilm des Monats, and for slightly older kids, there’s Kino ab 10.

JugendKulturService, as the cooperation partner, organises SchulKinoWochen Berlin in November: For two weeks, two cinema halls are transformed into classrooms, where students of all ages can discover and experience new things with the aid of films, guests and expert speakers.
