Concert Program for Young People & Families - Season 2022/2023

Cheap concert tickets for kids, teens and families

We are very pleased that, after a longer break due to Corona, we will be able to offer a new concert series for young people & families starting this summer. The JugendKulturService offers concerts at moderate prices, allowing young people in particular to enjoy classical music and families with children to enjoy a concert experience together. More discounts with the Berliner FamilienPass

Once again this year, families with the Berliner FamilienPass will enjoy a price advantage of €2 per ticket. Families with demonstrably low incomes will receive tickets for family members reduced by half again as part of the "Extra Offers". Family concerts for even the smallest music fans

At 27 concerts for families with children from the age of three, a certain offer awaits the little ones. In a family atmosphere, they can not only listen to the music, they can also try out and get to know the instruments themselves in an age-appropriate way.

In the middle and crossover at the youth concerts

Young people up to the age of 21 can choose from63 youth concerts at reasonable prices from 5 to 12 euros.

Additional information on the youth concert program:
Due to the pandemic, the concert brochure does not currently contain any offers from the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Some concerts may be added at short notice from January, which we will then advertise online.

The Konzerthaus Berlin is currently planning only half-yearly due to Corona. As soon as the offer for 2023 is finalized, we will add additional concerts online. online.

So the scope of concerts will grow over the course of the season.

Wide musical spectrum

In addition to large orchestras, smaller professional ensembles and young up-and-coming musicians are also represented. Together, they reflect the multifaceted nature of Berlin's musical landscape.

13 concert organizers are involved in this program and provide tickets at particularly low prices. This makes it possible for young audiences up to and including 21 years of age to participate in musical cultural events without having to dig deep into their pockets, and families can also experience age-appropriate concerts with their children to participate in and try out for a small budget.

Order concert tickets

The ticket order is possible from mid-August via the online store of the JugendKulturService. There you can choose whether the tickets should be sent by mail (here shipping costs of 0.70 EUR per shipment) or pay for them in cash when you pick them up yourself at the office of the JKS.

All offers of the concert series are subject to our general terms and conditions and our privacy policy, which are accepted by the order. Please also note the information on shipping costs and the delivery conditions.

In addition, detailed information on all concerts will be available in the online store starting in August. The printed concert brochure will then also be available in libraries and public offices.

For the youth concerts, the following ordering conditions apply to avoid improper use.

For all youth concerts, ticket prices are valid only for young people up to and including the age of 21.

Tickets for youth concerts can only be ordered by stating the number of the valid school or student ID and the date of birth of the young person(s) for whom the tickets are intended.

For groups of 10 or more children and young people, instead of the above information, the relevant educational institution (school, university, etc.) must be indicated when ordering.

Adult companions:inside: For children under the age of 14, an accompanying guardian may receive a ticket at the youth concert price. However, when using this card, the person under 14 years of age must be present, for whom the necessary information mentioned under 1. was provided when ordering. Otherwise, the card is not valid.

In the case of children's and youth groups of 10 or more persons, one caregiver will receive a ticket at the youth concert price. This person must work for or on behalf of the educational institution (school, university, etc.) specified in the order.

Youth tickets and, if needed, tickets at the youth price for adult accompanying persons have a certain imprint. The concert organizers reserve the right to check the proper use of these tickets. If necessary, vouchers will be issued first, which must then be exchanged at the box office.
