Through the Besucher:innenFörderung, the state of Berlin, represented by the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, subsidizes visits to children's and youth Theatres with 2 euros per person, if a individual contribution of at least 2.50 euros is paid per visitor:in.
Berlin's children's and youth Theatres can apply at any time to the JugendKulturService (JugendKulturService) for inclusion in the visitor support program.
What is supported by the Visitor:InsideFunding?
The Besucher:innenFörderung supports group visits by Berlin educational institutions to Berlin Theatres for children and young people. The performances must take place in Berlin in Theatres, playhouses or similar public venues. Performances in schools and daycare Mittes, for example, are not supported.
The amount of the subsidy, which has been valid since 01.01.2023, is 2 euros per person. The individual contribution of the paying person (the child or young person) must amount to 2.50 euros per ticket.

Depending on the program, automatic calculation errors may occur when filling out the digital accounting forms. With Adobe everything works fine, when using internet browsers (e.g. Edge, Firefox, Chrome) calculation errors regularly appear in the ticket prices. For example, if you enter "7.50" for the single ticket price, the value 7,050 euros appears instead of 7.50 euros for the free tickets for accompanying persons.) If this error occurs, the price must be entered with a dot instead of a comma in front of the decimal value, e.g.: "7.50" instead of "7,50". Afterwards all values appear correctly!
