Through the Besucher:innenFörderung, the state of Berlin, represented by the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, subsidizes visits to children's and youth Theatres with 2 euros per person, if a individual contribution of at least 2.50 euros is paid per visitor:in.
Berlin's children's and youth Theatres can apply at any time to the JugendKulturService (JugendKulturService) for inclusion in the visitor support program.
What is supported by the Visitor:InsideFunding?
The Besucher:innenFörderung supports group visits to Berlin children's and youth Theatres by Berlin educational institutions. The performances must take place in Theatres, venues or similar public places in Berlin. Performances in e.g. schools and daycare Mittes are not funded.
The amount of the funding, which has been valid since 01.01.2023, is 2 euros per person. The individual contribution of the paying person (the child or young person) must be at least 2.50 euros per ticket.
Furthermore, free tickets can be charged for the accompanying educators (one free ticket per 7 children for non-school institutions, one free ticket for schools with a group size of 15 pupils or more).

Depending on the program, automatic calculation errors may occur when filling in the digital settlement forms. Everything works perfectly with Adobe, but when using Internet browsers (e.g. Edge, Firefox, Chrome), calculation errors regularly appear in the ticket prices. For example, if you enter "7.50" for the single admission price, the free tickets for accompanying persons will then appear as 7,050 euros instead of 7.50 euros). If this error occurs, the price must be entered with a decimal point instead of a comma before the decimal value, e.g: "7.50" instead of "7,50". All values will then appear correctly!
